  7.      This book is  divided  into  three  main  sections.  The  first  gives
  8.      genealogical  data  about  members  of  the family, the second section
  9.      provides family group sheets for all family  groups  that  include  at
  10.      least  one  child,  and  the  third  section  consists of biographical
  11.      sketches of each family member which chronologically tell the story of
  12.      the family.

  14.      Each  person  is identified by a unique number. This number is used to
  15.      distinguish between family members that may have the same name.
  16.  
  17.      The vital statistics about each person appear in  Sections  1  and  2.
  18.      Included  here  will  be  the  dates of birth and death, the places of
  19.      those events and the dates and places for marriages, as  well  as  in-
  20.      formation about the person's spouse(s) and children.

  22.      The  family  trees,  with up to four generations of ancestors and des-
  23.      cendants of each person, are also included in section 1.  These  trees
  24.      could  be  combined  to  form  a  complete family genealogy that could
  25.      (theoretically) extend forever!

  27.      The biographies are freeform in nature and  serve  to  establish  more
  28.      background  about  the  individual  than  could  be  provided  by pure
  29.      statistics.

  31.      Located in the appendices in the back is information  that  is  useful
  32.      for extending the family history.

  34.      ~UAppendix  A~u  summarizes  all  of the names that appear in the book
  35.      along with their reference numbers.

  37.      ~UAppendix B~u lists information that should have been included but is
  38.      presently  unknown.  By researching further it may be possible to fill
  39.      in the missing data and extend the genealogy even farther.

  41.      ~UAppendix C~u will provide a sorted list of miscellaneous information
  42.      including causes of death, occupations, and church affiliations.

  44.      ~UAppendix D~u prints a family "time line" listing the dates of birth,
  45.      death and marriages for the entire family in chronological order.
